Feeders

~~~~~At our store, we make it a priority to only carry the finest of feeders, based on both appearance and functionality. Every feeder in the store is well built, as well as researched thoroughly by the respective manufacturers to make sure its design is one that will appeal most to the birds while keeping seed fresh. We carry our own Wild Bird Center brand as well as Droll Yankee, Duncraft, Birds Choice, Woodlink, Varicraft, and others. Our wood feeders are constructed from inland red cedar, so that they will weather well when exposed to the elements. They are constructed with screws and thus hold up better than feeders held together by nails or staples. Many have MoBi mesh on the bottom to allow the rain and other moisture to drain out while holding seed in. Our metal feeders are made from power-coated metal, which is both durable and highly resistant to rusting. Any plastic feeders we carry are made from a UV stabilized polycarbonate plastic, which 40 times stronger than the plastic in a typical big box store feeder and won’t yellow or dry out in the sun. We carry a wide variety of feeders made from recycled plastics (usually from milk jugs) which are resistant to squirrel chewing and carry with them a positive environmental concept. To learn what feeder will work best for you, read through our descriptions of each type of feeder.
